About the new Hampton-Photos.com 2011 gallery

We ran out of room on the old gallery, so from here on out we have decided to break the gallery up into years. We're starting with the latest pictures in 2011 and will be working our way backward through 2010. With the new gallery comes a new version of the software we use to manage the pictures and albums. For the most part, the new software has more capabilities than the old version, but a few things have been left out. One of the modules that wasn't included in the new version is the album links. This module gave us the capability to sort of add the same album under both "By Artist" and "By Venue". We no longer have the ability to do that, so we have to decide which branch to put the album in. What we decided to do is put an album under "By Artist" if there was one artist or band scheduled to play. The may have special guests or other musicians sitting in with them, but it is still primarily a single artist or band. The album can be found under "By Venue" if the pictures are of a jam night or some other show that includes many different musicians or bands - when the album cannot be easily listed under a single artist or band. Take your time and enjoy.
